BARWON VALLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL, BELMONT

CPE worked together with Bowden Corp to complete the landscape works at Barwon Valley Primary School has successfully transformed the outdoor environment into an engaging and educational space for students. Key features of the project include:
Gardens: Vibrant garden beds have been established, featuring a diverse range of native and drought-resistant plants. These gardens not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also serve as a living classroom, allowing students to learn about ecology and horticulture.
Synthetic Turf: A large area of high-quality synthetic turf has been installed, providing a durable and safe space for sports and recreational activities. This low-maintenance surface ensures year-round usability, promoting active play regardless of weather conditions.
Lawn Areas: Expansive natural lawn areas complement the synthetic turf, offering additional green space for casual play, gatherings, and outdoor lessons. The combination of turf and lawn creates a balanced environment for various activities.
Retention Basin: A strategically designed retention basin has been incorporated into the landscape, not only for effective stormwater management but also as an educational feature. This area includes native plantings that attract wildlife and provide a habitat for local flora and fauna.
