The landscape project at Exford Primary School, completed in collaboration with Melbcon, transformed the school grounds into a vibrant and functional outdoor space designed to support learning, play, and well-being.

The scope of works included the installation of lush garden beds and striking rock walling, adding both structure and visual appeal to the environment. Functional and durable outdoor furniture was strategically placed to provide seating and gathering spaces for students and staff. Expansive lawn areas were established to offer open green spaces for recreation and relaxation.

Engaging natural play zones featuring rock, pebble, and log elements were integrated to encourage imaginative exploration and sensory interaction. Modern play equipment was installed, offering a range of physical activities suited to various age groups. Safety and accessibility were prioritized through the application of softfall rubber and synthetic turf, creating durable and cushioned surfaces that cater to active play.

To support the long-term sustainability of the landscape, an efficient irrigation system was implemented, ensuring optimal water management. A diverse range of planting selections enhanced the natural beauty of the school grounds, contributing to a welcoming and stimulating outdoor environment.

Additionally, ongoing maintenance services were provided to uphold the quality and functionality of the landscape, ensuring it remains an inviting and well-maintained space for the school community.

This project stands as a testament to the commitment to creating inspiring and sustainable outdoor spaces that promote active learning and play at Exford Primary School.
