We are excited to announce the successful completion of the upgraded playspace at Long Gully Neighbourhood Centre in partnership with the City of Greater Bendigo. This project has revitalized the playspace, creating an inviting and engaging environment for the community.
New Gardens: Beautifully landscaped gardens have been introduced, featuring native plants that enhance the natural aesthetic and promote local biodiversity.
Concrete Paths and Bike Paths: Smooth concrete pathways and dedicated bike paths have been established to improve accessibility and encourage activity within the centre.
River Pebble Water Swale: A thoughtfully designed river pebble water swale has been implemented to create a water play area within the centre
Boulders: Strategically placed boulders add a natural element to the playspace, offering opportunities for creative play and exploration.
Sand Pits: New sand pits have been installed, providing children with a safe and fun area for imaginative play and social interaction.
This upgraded playspace at Long Gully Neighbourhood Centre not only enhances recreational opportunities for children and families but also fosters a sense of community and connection to nature. We look forward to seeing how these new features will enrich the experiences of all who visit the centre.
